Open Source Weekends - Privacy and security


Open Source Weekends where we teach people about open source technologies every weekends, and this weekend we were taking privacy and security workshop .Our motto is to enable people from all age groups and professions to be a part of making awesome things on the web. We teach all to develop their web literacy skills by spreading awareness and teaching the skills required to develop the web. To do so, we go to school, colleges, offices and any public spaces to teach them about the open source technologies. A initiative by our Mozilla club Infinite defense #MozInfinite  

There was more than 20 participants at our privacy security workshop. We started taking session on What is Mozilla, why Mozilla is working for privacy and security and shared the story of how Mozilla name come to existence (Mosaic + Godzilla) then how companies getting our information and government doing mass surveillance , how android app can easily access our data and how to maintain our privacy and security in digital world. Further we discussed what is virus and Trojans, mobile hacking cyber law and many more. In this event me and Khushank Gohil was the speaker and Haard patel was helping us to co-ordinate this events and it was successfully completed.
