Viral at Mozilla: Rain of Rust Campaign in Gujarat

Rain of Rust Campaign

Rain of Rust Campaign was a month-long global campaign which was specifically focused on the Rust language. It was a global campaign that took place in the month of June 2017 in collaboration with the Rust community.

We at Mozilla working on organizing the event to reach out to people about rust and give them exposure about rust language, so I decided to take a lead and organize 5 event in Gujarat state on 11 June, 13 June, 17 June, 24 June, 27 June and it was successfully done with reach of 150+ people offline and 2000+ online. It was a great experience for me to be a speaker in 4 of the event and work with Highly motivated and power house of energy Mehul Patel and Vigneshwar. Would love to mention the tremendous efforts given by Sumedh Mistry (Club Captain, Mozilla Parul University) and Dipak Parmar (Club Captain, Mozilla club Patan) to Host a such an event and CO-OP with the team and organized very well and helping us to reach out more people in different parts of the state.

We didn’t Stopped yet we are again coming up the Next phase of rust campaign which will have Lots of resources, teaching kits and lots of other awesome thing so wait for it.
